Incident History

Resolved May 3, 2026 · 12:14–12:47 JST

Elevated Latency on Osaka Object Storage

A misconfigured cache eviction policy caused temporary read latency spikes (p95 ~180ms) on the Osaka object-storage tier. The policy was rolled back at 12:35 JST and full performance was restored by 12:47 JST. No data loss occurred.

Resolved March 18, 2026 · 03:22–04:05 JST

Scheduled Maintenance: Tokyo Core Router Firmware

Firmware update on core routing infrastructure in Tokyo DC-01. Traffic was gracefully shifted to Tokyo DC-02 during the window. A brief (~3 min) BGP reconvergence was observed at 03:41 JST.

Resolved February 9, 2026 · 09:10–09:38 JST

Partial API Degradation

An upstream certificate rotation caused ~15% of API requests to fail with TLS handshake errors. The old certificate was temporarily re-enabled while the new chain was propagated to all edge nodes.

Resolved January 14, 2026 · 22:05–23:12 JST

DDoS Mitigation Triggered on Osaka Edge

A 420 Gbps volumetric attack was automatically mitigated by our scrubbing centers. Legitimate traffic was unaffected after initial scrubbing rule tuning at 22:18 JST.

Scheduled Maintenance

Upcoming June 28, 2026 · 02:00–06:00 JST

Osaka Data Center — UPS Battery Replacement

Routine replacement of UPS battery strings in Hall B. Compute services will remain online via redundant power feeds. Object Storage read latency may briefly increase during failover testing.
